It is really sad that we are at the mercy of the water tanker suppliers. On Sunday the 4th of April, 2010 at around 1:30PM, Mr. Naveen of Manjunath Water Supply called up the Secretary of one of the apartments in 6th cross, Kaggadaspura, Bangalore for payment in cash. When the secretary told him that since it was a Sunday, it would be difficult to make the payment in cash as banks are closed. Moreover the Secretary requested him to come the next day for payment. Naveen threatened the Secretary and went off to get his gang of people. In half an hour, around 6 people barged into the apartment assaulting the security guards and started banging on the Secretary’s door. Later these people assaulted him. Secretary was wounded with the nose and hand fractured and needs to undergo surgery.
Request to all of you who are reading this, to please avoid taking water from Manjunath Water Supply as it is also come to our notice that he gets water from stagnated lakes that are not suitable for human consumption. Please pass on this message to others too.
Also please avoid paying fancy rates to these tanker people and try to keep the rates as low as possible.
